An online survey was carried out earlier this month on “Feedback on the Implementation of Adequate Procedures under Section 17A of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act 2009” with the overall outlook as follows:
90% is aware of the implementation of the corporate liability provision involving commercial organisations under Section 17A MACC Act 2009 as enforced since 1st June 2020 but only 70% have started to comply with the implementation.
