HIRING FOREIGN WORKERS (FW) PROGRAMME FOR G1 – G3 CONTRACTORS
We refer to the above-mentioned and wish to inform that, Construction Labour Exchange Centre Berhad (CLAB), a wholly owned subsidiary of Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB) has been given a pre-approved quota for application of foreign workers for distribution among the smaller contractors (G1 – G3).
This new programme is designed to help small contractors from Grade G1 – G3 experiencing difficulties in obtaining Construction Workers in small quantities (maximum 10 workers per application) for a short project duration (3 – 6 months) without having to go through the current long and cumbersome process.
In view of this, MBAM has taken up an initiative to come out with a survey to our members (especially G1 – G3 contractors) to identify the numbers of Foreign Workers required by the contractors.
