CIDB ENHANCEMENT OF IBS MATERIAL OR PRODUCT CERTIFICATION PROCESS FOR THE ISSUANCE OF STANDARD COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATE (PPS/PPSI)
Please be informed that the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia has issued a notification regarding the enhancement of the certification process for Industrialised Building System (IBS) materials and products for the issuance of the Standard Compliance Certificate (PPS/PPSi).
CIDB has integrated the CIS 24 Certification process (formerly known as IMPACT Certification) and the PPS/PPSi application process into the Certification of Construction Product & Material (CCPM) System.
The enhancement aims to:
- Improve service delivery efficiency.
- Expedite the application and issuance process for PPS/PPSi certificates.
- Provide a more systematic, secure and user-friendly application platform for construction industry stakeholders.
Applications for PPS/PPSi for construction materials or IBS products must be submitted online through the CCPM System at https://ccpm.cidb.gov.my
Members are advised to refer to the CIDB circular for the complete fee schedule applicable to new applications, renewals, and product additions. Please note that the processing fee is non-refundable.
The enhanced certification process and the implementation of the PPS/PPSi application processing fees will take effect on 4 August 2026. Following the implementation date, CIDB IBS Sdn. Bhd. will no longer issue CIS 24 Certification separately, as the certification process will be incorporated within the CCPM system workflow. A copy of the CIDB notification is attached for members’ reference.
