UPDATED FAQ RELATED TO CONDITIONAL MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER (CMCO) BY THE MINISTRY OF WORKS

We are pleased to enclose herewith the Updated FAQ Related to Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) by the Ministry of Works dated 8 May 2020 for your information.

The change is on item 9 as per the following:

Do I need to send my employees for a Covid-19 screening test before starting construction work?

Foreign workers and employers MUST go through the Covid-19 screening test and confirmed free from Covid-19 before being allowed to start work.

Any employee suspected of having Covid-19 symptoms should immediately be separated and taken for Covid-19 screening.

Members are encouraged to adhere to the directives made by the Government.
