Reduction of Levy Rate for Extension of Foreign Worker Beyond 10 Years
We are pleased to inform that the Reduction of Levy Rate for Extension of Foreign Worker beyond 10 Years, the Fees (Employment Pass, Visit Pass (Temporary Employment) and Work Pass) (Amendment) Order 2019 has been gazetted on 30 April 2019.
The new levy rates published under Schedule 1A for extension of the Visit Pass (Temporary Employment)/Pas Lawatan (Kerja Sementara) (PLKS) for the 11th, 12th and 13th year which takes effect from 30 April 2019 are below:

The new levy rate is for PLKS that expires on or after 30 April 2019 until 29 April 2020 and is not applicable for PLKS that expired between 1 October 2018 and 29 April 2019.
Employers are reminded to submit the application for the extension at Putrajaya Immigration Department for Peninsular Malaysia and State Office of Immigration Department for Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.
