SURVEY (FOR COMPILATION TO BNM): COMPLAINT ON REPAYMENT ASSISTANCE (RA) REJECTIONS OR UNSATISFIED TERMS
Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) acknowledges the hardship faced by businesses in the current challenging environment, particularly in light of the recent containment measures announced by the Government to mitigate the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic. BNM and the financial industry remain committed to ensure that all businesses, especially the SMEs that are adversely affected by the pandemic, will be assisted.
In this respect, BNM has invited MBAM for a discussion through an industry engagement session, to break down the issues and challenges faced by SMEs in dealing with financial institutions on repayment assistance and financing matters. BNM hopes that they will be able to come up with a solution to overcome the challenges faced, and ensure assistance is provided to those who are in need.
Therefore, it is hoped that MBAM Members with issues regarding the above subject matter could submit in their issues/concerns to be raised to BNM. The feedback will be compiled by MBAM and submitted to BNM for their further action.
We apologise for the short notice given but we hope members with issues would take some time to fill up the survey.
