MBAM DECEMBER 2025 PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

As the year 2025 draws to a close, I extend my warmest greetings to you all during this festive season. On behalf of the Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM), it is my privilege to reflect on a year of remarkable progress, resilience, and unwavering commitment to excellence in our nation’s construction landscape.

This year has been transformative for the Malaysian construction industry. We have navigated economic headwinds with innovation at the forefront—witnessing many events including the successful launch of our new headquarters in October 2025, a beacon of our shared vision for a modern, collaborative, and environmentally responsible sector. From infrastructure megaprojects to community-driven developments, MBAM members have exemplified leadership, fostering job creation and economic growth while prioritizing safety and inclusivity. Our advocacy efforts have also yielded tangible results, influencing policy dialogues that support fair contracts, skilled workforce development, and digital integration—ensuring Malaysia remains at the vanguard of regional construction standards.

Yet, as we celebrate these milestones, let us also acknowledge the challenges overcome: supply chain disruptions, skilled labour shortages, and the imperative to adapt to climate imperatives. Your collective spirit—rooted in over four decades of my own journey in this vital industry—has been the true foundation of our success.

As we usher in the holidays, may the joy of Christmas and the promise of a New Year fill your homes with peace, prosperity, and renewed vigour. Let us carry this festive energy into 2026, building not just structures, but legacies that uplift communities and sustain our beautiful nation.
