COVID-19 SCREENING TO FOCUS ON FOREIGN WORKERS IN TWO SECTORS

We are pleased to enclose herewith the Media Statement issued by the Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia (MOHR) dated 13 May 2020 for your information.

Please be informed that the COVID-19 screening under the SOCSO Prihatin Screening Programme (PSP SOCSO) will focus on Foreign Workers in the Construction and Security Services industry with operations in Selangor and Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.

The screening will be conducted based on appointments arranged between employers in these sectors and the appointed PSP SOCSO service providers and can be carried out at the workplace or at the premises of the service providers (mobile screening).

Thus, all appointments with service providers made prior to this announcement are DEFERRED until further notice.
