NEW FOMEMA MANDATORY REQUIREMENT FOR FOREIGN WORKER’S ACCOMMODATION ADDRESS 

 

We wish to draw your attention to the latest directive from FOMEMA Sdn. Bhd. on foreign worker registration. Effective 7 September 2026, employers and panel agencies are required to review and confirm each foreign worker’s accommodation address via the FOMEMA Online Portal before registration can proceed.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Review the accommodation address displayed for the foreign worker.
  • Confirm the address by clicking Save if it is current, accurate, and complete.
  • If the displayed address is incorrect or outdated, update the address before saving.
  • Ensure the address provided reflects the worker’s current place of accommodation.

 

Registrations cannot be completed until the accommodation address has been confirmed or updated.
