ENFORCEMENT OF LEMBAGA PEMBANGUNAN INDUSTRI PEMBINAAN MALAYSIA (PINDAAN JADUAL KEEMPAT) ORDER 2021 ACT 520 CIDB – ENFORCEMENT ON SCAFFOLDING AND FALSEWORK
Perintah Lembaga Pembangunan Industri Pembinaan Malaysia (LPIPM) (Pindaan Jadual Keempat) 2021 has been gazetted on 10 September 2021 and was enforced since 13 September 2021 immediately replacing Lembaga Pembangunan Industri Pembinaan Malaysia (Pindaan Jadual Keempat) 2016 Order.
A total of 22 new products including falsework and coupler as well as a few new standards are listed in the Perintah LPIPM (Pindaan Jadual Keempat) 2021. Products and standards related with scaffolding and falsework had been updated as per below:

CIDB is looking seriously at the misuse of prefabricated steel frame for MS1462-1 standards used as falsework as stated in the standard as well as CIS 23 : Safe Use of Falsework in Construction.
CIDB reserves the right to take action if the industry is found to have failed to comply with the provisions stated under subsection 33C CIDB certification.
