Announcement of Office Bearers following 2020 AGM: Tan Sri Sufri Bin Haji Mohd Zin elected as new MBAM President for term 2020-2022
Kuala Lumpur, 29 December 2020 – Tan Sri Sufri Bin Haji Mohd Zin has been appointed as the new President of Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM) with effect from 29 December 2020, succeeding Foo Chek Lee. Following the 66th MBAM Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 20 December 2020, new MBAM Office Bearers have been elected today for the term 2020-2022 at MBAM Secretariat Office in Kuala Lumpur.
Tan Sri Sufri brings to the position a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Malaysian construction industry with more than 35 years of working experience especially in civil and building industry. He has been serving MBAM in various capacities since year 2004 and an active MBAM Council Member. Tan Sri Sufri who is honoured and humbled by the appointment said, “I hope that the new Council will work together to move the Association forward with one voice and one mind.”

About MBAM:
- Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM) was founded in 1954 and it has since grown close to 17,000 direct and indirect members comprising of corporations, affiliated associations and associated industry companies in the construction industry.
- MBAM is a member of the International Federation of Asian and Western Pacific Contractors’ Associations (IFAWPCA), Building Industry Presidents’ Council (BIPC) and is currently chairing the ASEAN Constructors Federation (ACF).
