SOFT FINANCING SCHEME FOR DIGITAL & TECHNOLOGY (SFDT) BY MALAYSIAN INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FINANCE BERHAD (MIDF)
Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad (MIDF), an agency of Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) has been instrumental in helping local entrepreneurs with the provision of financing facilities at Government preferential rates for manufacturing and services sector since 1960.
MIDF is assisting the industry in adopting digitalisation and technology and had established Soft Financing Scheme for Digital & Technology (SFDT), primarily to encourage and increase utilisation of digital technologies among local SMEs as means to escalate competitiveness and efficiency and marketability.
Under SFDT, MBAM members can enjoy better financing features as depicted herein:
- As low as 4% p.a on yearly reducing balance;
- Financing amount up to RM1 million;
- Up to 90% financing; and
- Up to 5 years repayment tenure.
