COVID-19 TEST – SPECIAL OFFER PACKAGE FOR MBAM MEMBERS

Further to the recent Government’s announcement that all foreign workers in every working sector which include construction in Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Penang, Sabah, KL and Labuan must undergo the RTK-Antigen test.  This requirement is aimed to ensure all construction sites are safe for our workers to work and everyone is protected.

We are pleased to inform that MBAM has managed to source for the benefit of MBAM Members, Covid-19 PCR and/or RTK Antigen screening package(s) which are priced below market rate. The Covid-19 PCR and/or RTK Antigen tests (which are recognised by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia), will be conducted by the approved vendors, and for our Members’ convenience, via on-site screening. For the moment, the available areas for on-site screening covers the Klang Valley (Selangor & Kuala Lumpur), Negeri Sembilan, Penang and Johor Baharu.

The approved vendors have expressed their confidence that the expected time for release of test results are (a) within 15 minutes for the RTK Antigen test and within 1 to 2 working days for the PCR test.  Further details and terms and conditions would be made available in due course to interested Members.

Kindly note that the Covid-19 screening packages shall be contracted directly between MBAM Members and the approved vendors.  MBAM merely facilitates the contract for the provision of Covid-19 PCR and/or RTK Antigen testing at the Members’ site by the approved vendors for the benefit of the Members.

MBAM DOES NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES AND/OR REPRESENTATION OF THE APPROVED VENDORS’ SERVICES AND MBAM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE, WHETHER IN TORT OR CONTRACT, TO THE MEMBERS FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT OR SPECIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFIT, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY OR OTHER FINANCIAL LOSS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE MEMBERS’ APPOINTMENT AND USE OF THE APPROVED VENDORS’ SERVICES FOR THE COVID-19 PCR AND/OR RTK ANTIGEN TESTS.
