MITI DATABASE SYSTEM – CIMS – TO BE PDRM REFERENCE IN STATES UNDER PKPB AND PKPD

Due to the recent announcement of the Conditional Movement Control Order (Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Bersyarat / PKPB) and Enhanced Movement Control Order (Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Diperketatkan / PKPD) in several locations nationwide, MITI would like to call on companies in Malaysia to register in its business database system called COVID-19 Intelligent Management System (CIMS).
This registration at www.notification.miti.gov.my is to facilitate the inspection of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) which uses this system as their reference before giving permission for relevant companies to operate. For companies that have already registered in the previous version of CIMS, they do not need to apply again.
However, MITI would like to emphasize that registration at CIMS is merely a reference source for PDRM and not a form of automatic operating approval for companies. Approval to operate is fixed according to the decision by PDRM.
Members are encouraged to read through the press release and adhere to the directives made by the Government. MBAM would also like to remind members to continue to comply with the updated SOPs and Guidelines by Government while we continue to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
