Terms of Reference

i. Industrialised Building System (IBS)

To study and promote the use of Industrialised Building System (IBS) and Modular Construction (MC) in the construction industry.
To participate, provide inputs and interact with industry partners and the policy-making authorities in formulating design-and-build directions for construction industry.

ii. Research & Development

To participate in Research & Development (R&D) activities that are relevant and beneficial to members and organise, collate and disseminate R&D findings to members. It participates, provides input and interacts with industry players and policy-making authorities in formulating R&D directives for the industry. The committee also compiles and updates statistics related to the construction industry and assists in replying all questions through surveys conducted by the Association.

iii. Standard

To participate and provide input to relevant bodies in attaining the required standards set for development. It also monitors oversees foreign practices affecting the construction industry as well as monitors all matters regarding to standard practices; including ISO Standards.
