TALK ON GREEN BUILDINGS, GREENER PROFITS

MBAM Mechanical & Electrical Committee is organizing a talk entitle “Green Buildings, Greener Profits”.  The talk aims to explore challenges and opportunities, myths and realities surrounding the cost of Malaysian green buildings.  The talk will also highlight cost- effective design and construction practices as well as strategies for maximizing green returns on investments. Our prominent speaker for the talk is Mr. Mitchell Evan Gelber, Technical Committee, Green Building Index. Mr. Gelber is an active member of Malaysia’s Green Building Index (GBI) Technical Committee and has helped develop the latest version of the GBI Residential New Construction Tool. He serves on the research committee for MGBC’s Green Pages Malaysia and has previously lectured at the University of Malaya, school of architecture. Furthermore, he is also the founder of YIDesign Green Buildings, he consult on building and planning projects both within Malaysia and abroad.
