WORKING SAFELY AT HEIGHT
INTRODUCTION
This 2-day competency course is designed to incorporate the proper safety measures to be undertaken by persons undertaking work at heights over two meters, where there is a risk of falling. Participants will be taught about the hazards and risks associated with working at height activities and how to prevent falls. It also provides participants with the skills and awareness of the equipment and techniques required to work at heights and, if necessary, conduct a rescue of an injured or trapped personnel within their own work area.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
This 2-day Course is conducted in a classroom learning environment and also includes hands-on practical exercises where participants are given the chance to practice actual work at height structures as well as perform rescue operations.
ENTRY REQUIREMENT
– Minimum SPM or SRP certificate
– Minimum 2 years relevant site working experience
