Members are advised to take note of the following key points: &#8211;<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Training Types and Maturity Periods: HRDC distinguish between two categories of training: <\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>In house training<\/strong>, conducted for a single company and its subsidiaries, will carry a maturity period of 14 days.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Public training<\/strong>, which involves participants from different companies and is most relevant to MBAM members, currently carries a three\u2011day maturity period. Effective <strong>1 January 2027<\/strong>, all seminars, whether in\u2011house or public training, will be subjected to a <strong>14\u2011day maturity period<\/strong>. Employer must secure grant approval at least 14 days before the seminar date.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Beginning 15 June 2026, stricter criteria will apply to all grant applications: &#8211; <\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Only one query is allowed. Employer must response within <strong>five (5) days<\/strong>, otherwise the application will be void.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Employers no longer may amend approved grants; corrections require cancellation and resubmission. No appeals will be accepted once a grant is approved.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To secure HRDC claims under the new framework, members are urged to plan and register promptly once seminar registration opens, avoiding last\u2011minute submissions.
