{"id":29568,"date":"2022-04-01T10:01:03","date_gmt":"2022-04-01T02:01:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mbam.org.my\/?page_id=29568"},"modified":"2022-04-01T10:01:03","modified_gmt":"2022-04-01T02:01:03","slug":"implementation-of-integrity-in-government-procurement","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/mbam.org.my\/scholarship\/implementation-of-integrity-in-government-procurement\/","title":{"rendered":"IMPLEMENTATION OF INTEGRITY IN GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">IMPLEMENTATION OF INTEGRITY IN GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Ministry of Finance (MOF) has updated and improved on the guidelines in relation to integrity implementation in Government Procurement. The improvements are made in line with the National Anti-Corruption Plan (NACP) 2019-2023 where it introduces a very comprehensive policy on the declaration of personal conflict of interest during the procurement process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In order to implement this initiative, the Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB) has been entrusted by the MOF to inform contractors and to provide a platform in the Centralised Information Management System (CIMS) on this matter so that contractors will understand and be aware on the implementation of the Integrity Pact clearly. As such, effective 1 April 2022, all contractors must sign the \u201cSurat Akuan Syarikat\u2019 when submitting new applications and the \u201cPembaharuan&nbsp; &nbsp;Perakuan Pendaftaran Kontraktor (PPK) in the CIMS.
