This is the third issue published this year, and we hope that you will find this issue informative and beneficial in advancing your business. In this Issue, we have an exclusive interview with the new MBAM President for term 2022-2024, Mr Oliver HC Wee. In the interview, he talks about his vision as the new MBAM President, his plans for the Association, the challenges facing the Malaysian construction industry, and how MBAM can assist contractors in these trying times.
Contractors are worried on late deliveries due to the shortage of labour that our nation is currently experiencing. On this issue we have an exclusive feature article with opinions from leading legal firms on the limit of contractors’ liabilities, and the entitlement of extra time for completion due to the above issue. This article will hopefully assist contractors in making their decisions, as well as in planning forward to deal with their application or to discuss with their clients respectively.
As usual we have a number of contributed articles on various topics which we hope readers will find useful and interesting. Among the articles are “Sustainable Future Living – Inspirational Developments around the World”, “Productivity Measuring Tool – A Driving Mechanism for Productivity Excellence” and “IPAF Global Safety Report 2022”.
Thank you again for reading. We kindly ask for your kind support to advertise in MBJ in order to support the cost of producing this Journal.
