MBAM Launches its 70th Anniversary Coffee Table Book and Honours Outstanding Individuals and Organisations at its recent 70th MBAM Anniversary Dinner Celebration
Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM) celebrated its 70th Anniversary with the theme “70 Years of Building Excellence and the Future Forward” in a dinner celebration held at the Sunway Resort Hotel on 31 May 2024. The dinner was graced by Guest-of Honour, YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah Bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia cum Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) who also launched MBAM’s 70th Anniversary Coffee Table Book.
This coffee table book is not just a collection of images; it’s a captivating narrative. It chronicles MBAM’s journey, highlighting milestones, industry challenges, and triumphs. It showcases the association’s unwavering commitment to excellence and its dedication to its members.
In line with this, MBAM also held an Affiliate Dialogue earlier that day with around 25 affiliate member associations and representatives from CIDB Malaysia, CLAB and DOSH in attendance. This is reflective of the association’s constant pursuit in engaging with the Government and its related agencies as well as our affiliate associations to further promote and develop the construction industry to meet national development agendas.
MBAM will continue working hand in hand with the Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB) and we ask for the continued support and active participation of industry stakeholders to complement the initiatives undertaken by CIDB as we continuously work towards protecting the interests of our members in the construction industry.
While the association commemorates a historic milestone today, MBAM also honoured outstanding individuals and organisations who served with the Association through the MBAM Long Service Awards and Special Awards namely the MBAM Honorary Life President Award, Honorary Builder Award and Silver Award.
