MBAM CONFERENCE ON ISSUES AND REMEDIES RELATED TO NOMINATED SUB-CONTRACTING ARRANGEMENT
The MBAM Contracts and Practices Committee will be organising a conference on “Issues and Remedies Related to Sub-Contracting Arrangement” on Tuesday, 10th October 2017 at Victorian Ballroom, Holiday Villa Hotel & Conference Centre Subang, Jalan SS 12/1, 47500 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
The conference which is limited to 150 participants will bring together experts and leading players from the construction industry, senior Government officials, industry stakeholders, businessmen as well as leaders of various Non-Governmental Organisations.
The conference will be the perfect platform for participants to share knowledge and experience, especially on matters pertaining to Construction Contracts and to find remedies to key issues of concern.
Yang Arif Dato’ Lee Swee Seng, High Court Judge, Construction Court has confirmed to be our Guest-of-Honour to deliver a Keynote Address and subsequently launch the conference.
Attendees of the Conference will also witness the Signing Ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding Between MBAM and The Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors, United Kingdom (ICES) to identify ways that MBAM and ICES may co-operate on matters in common relating to building and to civil engineering surveying.
MBAM has also included a forum discussion on the matter where key industry stakeholders are invited to present their views and recommendations. Please note also there will be a networking session after the forum.
