We would like to share the information that we received from MATRADE Bangkok during a Market Sounding Seminar for the Bang Khun Thian – Ban Phaeo Motorway M82 Project. This event was aimed at engaging with private sector companies, governmental bodies, and other relevant entities to gather input that will assist in the development of the draft invitation to bid, the draft request for proposal, and the draft public-private partnership (PPP) agreement. 

 

Malaysian companies are welcome to participate in this project and will be required to join with a local Thai partner and be subjected to a maximum ownership limit of 49%. The invitation to bid and RFP is expected to be opened in April 2024 and submitted in August 2024. Interested parties are given 4 months to prepare the bid documents. It is important to note that the private company will be responsible for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the system works and associated facilities for the entirety of the project.
