SOCSO ONSITE COVID-19 SCREENING FOR CONSTRUCTION EMPLOYEES/WORKERS REGISTERED WITH SOCSO (PERKESO)

Further to the Government’s requirement that all construction sites are required to send their workers, particularly the foreign workers, for the Covid-19 screening prior to commencement of work. This requirement is aimed to ensure all construction sites are safe for our workers to work and everyone is protected.

We are pleased to inform that the Social Security Organisation – SOCSO (PERKESO) is currently working with MBAM to compile the list of names of employees/workers of MBAM members’ companies who are registered with SOCSO and qualified to undergo the PROGRAM SARINGAN PRIHATIN (PSP) PERKESO. This exercise is applicable for screening at sites/premises of members who have a minimum of 75pax/site. List of employees submitted by members will be forwarded to SOCSO to arrange for appointment with the relevant healthcare providers. Please note that the arrangement of appointment date is at the discretion of SOCSO. 

Members who are interested including those who have registered with SOCSO earlier but still have not received their appointment date for the screening to submit their list of employees to MBAM.  Please return the duly completed attached SOCSO reply form in Excel format for our further arrangement.
